If it’s original and unpublished, Dark Sky Magazine welcomes short fiction and non, poetry, film reviews, essays and articles. Send work (as an attachment) that has a strong jab, work that knows how to sing, work that can endure long nights and early mornings. If one big cup of coffee isn’t enough to get through your submission, chances are it’s too long for an online magazine. If you’re submitting 2-D or photography, we’re open to most subject matter as long as the work is technically proficient and conceptually unique. Dark Sky Magazine accepts submissions year-round and will respond by email as soon as possible. Upon acceptance, each contributor retains copyright of their work, while Dark Sky Magazine receives first publishing rights.
